What would you say about Tom Ripley? Would you consider him as a mentally ill person or an absolutely sane, cruel and calculating man?
Well, I can't call him talented in the right sense of this word. Talent makes people prominent, but his talent has nothing to do with it's genuine application. He got rid of two people, his friends, he betrayed them. But if we look at him from the other point we should admit that he is genious. He had perfectly been planning the murders of people standing in his way. But I think it is not the best way of achieving your goals, there are some others less harmful for other people. I can't call him completely insane, he had a very clear idea of all his deeds. And this is more like a strong calculation rather that madness. The idea born in his mind was finding its application after a considerable process of planning. He played with people's lives, it was his favourite game. He had mastered his skils of murdering to aperfectly frightening degree. His cruelty has no limits and his calculating abilities can be compared to the gift of the world's famous mathematics.

If I won one million dollars…
Well, to begin with I would buy a new flat somewhere in the centre of the city. Then I would change my car, I would like to have something from premium class. And of course I would set up my own business. Probably it would be a shop for little ones or a perfume shop. I think that’s enough for me, then I would give a good sum of money to my parents in order to provide them great retirement. And for the rest I would fund an orphanage for homeless animals, which would be a huge building, made of thousands of residential units for each pet, a vet and of course a canteen for them. I wish one day my dreams come true!!!

What do you think can you spend some time in such a place where is no civilization? To forget about difficulties in your life or just to enjoy the nature?
It’s well known fact that the man is the product of civilization. The man can’t exist beyond it. There were cases when children had been lost in the deep jungles and grew up among the wild animals. And when the explorers had found them and then tried to socialize them, the effort had been suffering a dramatic crash. The children went on roaring, barking, sleeping and eating like animals. And the second signaling system which is called speech and which differs us from animals was deadly numb. So, I personally think that I can’t live without civilization, as I’m a human, a social being and I need to socialize. We are surrounded by civilization, civilization is everything that we hear, that we see, that we touch, that happens around. So, we can imagine how empty would be the place without it. Being alone, forgetting about the difficulties and just enjoying nature can be completed in half a day, no more. For me no civilization means isolation, which in its turn leads to madness. And for me isolation is the worst punishment. I prefer to be among people even with my problems. But this is my own opinion.

Identity…
If the word identity has to be treated in the right sense of this word, so I am Lyudmila Fyodorova, a student. But if we take another meaning, then I’m a person, a human, an individual. So, what makes identity? I mean personal one, because there are different types of identity. First of all I have an appearance, which is mine and no one else’s. Then I have a particular character, special psychological features and innate abilities. I think that especially innate capacities make identity. This is the way of our self-expression, the way to reveal your potential and this makes other people say: “oh, this person differs from others; he or she outstands in a huge human mass”. In my opinion the main feature that forms identity is kindness.

What is self-improvement and what is self-destruction for you?
What is self-improvement? For me it is education, the ways of getting better and more sophisticated not only in professional field, but the means of getting more skillful and wise in the course of life. But I think that self-improvement is an innate ability to develop yourself and not going round in circles. This is a very tedious process, because our laziness is the highest hurdle, which only few, the most patient and industrious men can clear. Self-improvement is a result of a long and hard process of understanding of what is “right” and what is “wrong”. But the most difficult thing in this process is to feel that invisible boarder between these two notions. Very often people in attempts to learn the difference between “rights” and “wrongs” begin to destroy everything in their way. Self-destruction is a process of demoralization; it is when you rot inside. Everything starts with the tiniest things, such as to reject to do the ordinary daily staff, such as changing clothes and washing. All these things happen when you give will to you worst evil laziness. She, laziness defeats you making you play according to her own rules, to her own benefits. But our main destructors are alcohol and drugs; these are such a “false friends”, which give you the opiate oblivion, and settle inside you in return and start to devour your like cancer. The border line between self-improvement and self-destruction is very narrow. You can improve yourself so hard, that when you decide to relax and let you laziness come out, you can turn up behind this transparent line, on the way of harmful destruction. In both cases, I mean improvement and destruction we must have will-power.

What is happiness for you and what do you need to be happy?

I devide the notion of happiness into two immediate constituents: the outer factors and the deeper ones. Among the external factors I can distinguish the perfect appearence: no wrinkles, bright eyes and soft skin, slim and fit body, health is also very important- you are full of energy, nothing disturbes you. The deep structure of happiness lays in relationship with people who surround you. For being happy I must be loved, of course, I must love, but it's great when someone loves you, when you allow to love you. It goes without saying that big love presupposes strong family, loving husband and children. Secondly, goes the income, I want be prosperous in all the ways. Money brings freedom. And the third constituent of happiness is friends, reliable and trustfull.

What makes a good teacher?

I can say that the need of forthcoming practice at school scares me a bit.I wonder what qualities both professional and personal I should have for fruitful colloboration either for students or for me.Successful results depend not only on my future pupils, but mostly on me.I think, first of all, I should be just and patient. I also think that teacher should approach his students without preconceptions, he or she shouldn't adopt any special attitude towards them, I mean sterness or light-heartedness, he or she should be natural and open. Secondly, a great teacher should have good professional qualities, the teacher should constantly improve his skills and be aware of the latest innovations, then the lessons would be always interesting and make students respect him or her. The great teacher should be modern, compassionate with the pupils, interested in their life and problems. The most important thing is that the teacher should be a good friend, always reliable and sincere, but the pupils in their turn should be friendly and eager to communicate. And, of course, the appearence is very important. Elegancy and smart look must be approached as a rule.
